Territory Sales Manager

Proposal Engineer

The Proposal Engineer’s role is to coordinate proposal development between the responsible sales manager and engineering department to fulfill end-user requirements and identify and resolve any issues.  The Proposal Engineer will design and develop the technical solutions to meet the end-user requirements.  This individual will also help the aftermarket personnel and handle tasks assigned by the Proposal Manager.  000154

Responsibilities include generating new business while maintaining the growth with existing customers, resolve customer issues, assess potential applications of company products and services to offer solutions, etc.

Based in the Chicagoland area, the company is a manufacturer of mixing. blending, size reduction, conveying, material handling and storage systems.

 

Position summary:  Handle complex designing and drawing assignments under minimal supervision.  Provide support to Project Management, Vendors and Customers as assigned.  Completes project tasks under some direction form manager.  Communicates with customers throughout project and following up upon successful commissioning.  Designs new products and systems and makes improvements to existing products and systems.  Generates specificaiotns, procurement, job costing, schedule management, customer service, and sales support.  Develops incremental business with existing customers and new business.
